THE ISOLATION OF UK – COVID-19 flight ban

Things are going weary for the United Kingdom ever since the #COVID19 pandemic’s first case was reported. The misjudged governance & the lack of proper testing and lockdowns (at the nascent stages) and testing at the airports (before and after travel) have costed the Country unimaginably.

With the #COVID19 virus cases surging on an intractable basis has made the government of the UK go bonkers in what to be done next. One point to note is that the #UK has just rolled out use of the #COVID19 vaccine and all of these are happening while the vaccination is under way.

The latest development in the scenario is a lot of world countries have BANNED (we repeat, BANNED) the flights / travel to and from the United Kingdom as the cases have started to surge in numbers & a new STRAIN OF CORONA VIRUS is making rounds – Eventually making the countries around the world & the people, frantic.

All About Aviation has compiled and will be updating this blog with latest information regarding the flights ban to/from the UK for our readers to get everything all at once, at a single place.

The sad state of aviation in the #UK is never going to end soon as airlines & companies have already lost a lot & many airlines declared bankruptcy, ceased operations, shortened routes, waived off employees and what not.

Things are getting out of control for the UK as it is barely connected now to the world as 50+ countries have stalled flight movement to/from United Kingdom.

With the new strain causing headache and headlines, the recovery path of aviation has been set onto back gear, as the crisis is deepening and becoming more worrisome.

UK/Europe’s aviation sector have been execrably hit by the #COVID19 pandemic and this news of banning of flights is just going to add fuel to the ongoing burn.

The stricter lockdowns, the people’s mindset and keeping themselves safe is the only initial solution for recovery, at this stage.

We are witnessing an first of all kind of suspensions from worldly nations to completely BAN flights to/from a country & UK has got itself crippled into doom due to the new Corona virus strain apart from the one that’s engulfed the English country.

Now, around 50+ counties have truncated flight movements to/from the United Kingdom and this happened Around a year ago, when #Wuhan started giving out shock waves of COVID-19 virus (almost the world cut flight ops to/from Wuhan/China)

THINGS ARE GETTING WORSE FOR THE UK.

The UK health secretary Matt Hancock announced that two new cases have been detected of another new strain of the coronavirus in the UK.

This new variant is highly concerning because it is yet more transmissible & it appears to have mutated further.

The pain and struggle being experienced by people in the UK still feels just as real as those experienced nearly a year ago.

We are yet to see how #UK plans to combat the spike in new covid 19 cases.

60+ countries have already banned flags to/from the #UK.

As of January 1, 2021 a bunch of countries have either extended the ban/bound to lift the ban in the upcoming days. The Same has been detailed against the country name, above.

The United Kingdom will go into extensive lockdown as the cases are surging in unimaginable numbers. On the other hand, the vaccination process is taking place and is fairly taming the numbers.

But what is worrying is, even after all such lockdowns and restrictions, the UK Government has decided not to Test, Screen Passengers, manage the flow of passengers via airports to the UK — This has been lingering around the United Kingdom for a while.

For a nation, as big and developed as the UK, It is surprising to see the government not taking measures to coexist the vaccine episode and travel. Whilst, almost all the countries are finding/have found ways to coexist — The UK not doing, is worrisome.
